Blackjack

How to Play

One of the most popular games ever, an exciting and easy card game to play. The goal is to have a hand of a total value higher than the dealer's without going over 21. Make your strategic choices, blending your skills with luck.

Place a bet in the betting areas (boxes) marked on the table. On each box, one main bet and two behind bets.
The player who places the main bet is the one ruling that box.
At each box that has a bet, two cards will be dealt face up, and the dealer will get only one card face up.
Kings, queens, jacks, and tens are all worth a value of 10. The ace has the value of 1 or 11. The remaining cards are counted at their face value.
If these two cards are any card with a value of 10 and an ace, well, that’s the name of the game. It’s a blackjack, and it's paid 3 to 2.
If the dealer's card in this scenario is an ace, you have the option to get paid even money right away, or wait and see the outcome and have a draw or get paid 3 to 2.
On any other two cards, you have to decide either to stay or draw as many cards as you wish, aiming to be as close to a total of 21.
Once all players have taken their turn, the dealer draws another card for their hand. The dealer must draw up to 16 and must stand on any 17 or higher.
If your cards total is closer to 21 than the dealer's cards, you win!
If your cards and the dealer's card are of equal value, it’s a push; you don’t lose, and you don’t win. All winning bets are paid 1 to 1, except for blackjack, which is paid 3 to 2.

Optional actions at blackjack - you decide

Double: You can double down your original bet on any two-card combination; you will get one card only, giving you the chance to double your winnings.
Split: You can split any pair of cards with the same value by betting an additional bet.
Equal to your original bet. Then you will be dealt an additional card to each of your split cards, creating two new hands. If you split aces, you get one card only on each of the aces, and when getting a card with a value of 10, the total is 21, not blackjack.
Insurance: the dealer's first card is an ace, and you feel he will get a blackjack, you have an option to place a new bet up to half of the amount of your total bet on the table. If the dealer gets a blackjack, insurance will be paid 2 to 1, covering the loss of your initial bets.
Surrender: You got your first two cards, and none of your fellow players at the table has yet made a decision to draw a third card. You get this feeling you're going to lose this hand against the dealer's cards, it's time to save half of your bet. This gives you an option to surrender half of your bet on each box you feel won't beat the dealer's cards this time.
