Ultimate Texas hold'em

How to Play

Ultimate Texas is one of the most fun poker variations ever invented.

Play Texas not against your playmates but against the dealer.

It's a poker game played with a deck of 52 cards, where to start the game, you need to place two equal bets - the ante and the blind. Once all players have placed their bets, the dealer will draw the first 5 cards (community cards) and give two cards to each player and two to the house.

In this stage, all cards are closed. Once you see your two cards, you have two options: either you going to bet the play bet (pre-flop), maximum 3 or 4 times your ante bet, or you can check and wait for the dealer to open the first 3 community cards (the flop). Once the flop is revealed, you now have two options again. Make a play bet double the amount of your ante or check again and wait for the dealer to open the last two community cards (the turn and the river). Now you see all five community cards and your own two cards. The best poker combination is made out of the five best cards from the total of seven opened cards. If you think you beat the dealer now, you can bet the play bet up to an equal amount as your ante or if you think this combination of cards is not good enough, you can fold your cards and forfeit the ante and blind bet.

There is one more optional bet that makes this game spicier. It’s the trips bet. You want to play it or not, it's your choice, but that's where most of the big wins come.

This is an individual bet that is paid when qualified, even if the dealer's hand is better than yours. The trips are paid from three of a kind and higher, which means once you have a three of a kind or better, no matter what the dealer has, you going to get paid. You win even when you lose situations. Let's break it down. The dealer qualifies with a pair or higher. When the dealer is not qualified, the ante bet is pushed, and all the other bets are paid or taken according to the pay table and the simple rule of a high card.

When you have a better combination of five cards against the house.
